At the heart of the CD9P Series lies KIOXIA’s most advanced 3D flash memory, featuring the revolutionary CBA-based architecture. This technology reduces heat generation, improves thermal management, and delivers exceptional value through enhanced performance, power metrics, and total cost of ownership. With a growing emphasis on power and performance efficiency (performance per watt), the CD9P Series sets new benchmarks. For instance, the 15.36 TB model achieves approximately 60% and 45% improvements in sequential read and write speeds per watt, respectively, compared to its predecessor. Additionally, it boasts gains of approximately 55% and 100% in random read and write performance per watt, measured in thousands of IOPS (KIOPS).
The CD9P Series also delivers significant 4-corner performance improvements, including up to approximately 125% faster random write speeds, 30% higher random read speeds, 20% faster sequential read speeds, and 25% faster sequential write speeds compared to the previous generation. These advancements make the CD9P Series ideal for handling the intense demands of AI, machine learning, and high-performance computing (HPC) workloads.
