Autel Energy Launches Next-Gen Charging Platform with Liquid-Cooled Modules, Scalable Cabinets, and Advanced Chargers

Autel Energy Europe Unveils Next-Generation EV Charging Platform at Global Launch Event

At its “INFINITE POWER – STARTING FROM ZERO” Global Launch Event, Autel Energy Europe introduced its most advanced electric vehicle (EV) charging platform to date. Designed to meet the growing demand for ultra-fast, reliable, and scalable charging infrastructure across Europe and beyond, this next-generation solution combines cutting-edge technology with unmatched adaptability. At the heart of the platform are in-house engineered liquid-cooled power modules, which provide operators with flexible, high-performance charging solutions tailored to a wide range of use cases.

MaxiModule LCM60/120: The Backbone of High-Performance Charging

The cornerstone of Autel’s new platform is the MaxiModule LCM60/120, a series of liquid-cooled power modules developed entirely in-house. Available in 60 kW and 120 kW configurations, these modules are engineered for exceptional conversion efficiency, long-term stability, and sustained performance under demanding conditions.

The liquid-cooling system ensures consistent thermal management during continuous high-power operation, extending the lifespan of the modules and reducing maintenance costs. This innovation not only lowers the total cost of ownership but also enhances uptime and scalability, making the MaxiModule LCM60/120 a future-ready solution for evolving EV charging needs.

MaxiCharger DS600L: Scalable Cabinet Systems for Large-Scale Infrastructure

The MaxiCharger DS600L cabinet system integrates the MaxiModule LCM60/120 power modules to deliver unparalleled scalability for large-scale charging networks. With a total output capacity of up to 3 MW per cabinet cluster, the DS600L is designed to support a wide variety of charging scenarios, from passenger vehicles to heavy-duty trucks.

To ensure uninterrupted operation, the DS600L features a redundant architecture for critical components such as power modules, control units, and switching matrices. This design minimizes downtime and maximizes reliability, even in high-demand environments. Additionally, the system supports CCS (Combined Charging System) and MCS (Megawatt Charging System) standards, enabling compatibility with current and future EV models.

The DS600L also facilitates seamless integration with Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and Photovoltaic (PV) systems, all managed through Autel’s Energy Management System (EMS). This intelligent orchestration optimizes energy flow, reduces operational costs, and enhances overall efficiency. The system’s flexibility allows it to be paired with various dispensers and terminal units, including the MaxiCharger DT1500 terminal, which supports outputs of up to 1,500 A and 1.44 MW, ensuring readiness for next-generation ultra-fast charging demands.

MaxiCharger DH600: Enhanced All-in-One Charger

Autel has also upgraded its all-in-one charger line with the introduction of the MaxiCharger DH600, an evolution of the popular DH480 model. While retaining the compact footprint and sleek design of its predecessor, the DH600 delivers significantly improved performance and adaptability.

Equipped with liquid-cooled charging cables capable of handling up to 650 A, the DH600 supports continuous high-power delivery of 600 kW with excellent thermal performance. This ensures reliable operation even under the most demanding conditions, making it ideal for a wide range of charging scenarios. With higher sustained performance, improved efficiency, and enhanced durability, the MaxiCharger DH600 sets a new benchmark for all-in-one chargers in the industry.

MaxiCare Service and AI Integration: Enhancing User Experience

Beyond hardware innovations, Autel emphasized the importance of software and service enhancements. The company’s MaxiCare service platform leverages AI-driven tools to enable predictive maintenance, real-time network optimization, and an improved user experience. These capabilities empower operators to proactively manage their infrastructure, reduce downtime, and deliver a smoother, more efficient charging process for drivers.

Autel is also exploring broader applications of AI in charging and inspection processes, further enhancing operational efficiency and laying the groundwork for future innovations. By combining advanced hardware with intelligent software, Autel is positioning itself as a leader in the rapidly evolving EV charging market.

A Comprehensive Solution for the Future of EV Charging

According to Andreas Lastei, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Autel Energy Europe, “By developing our core power modules in-house and integrating them into scalable cabinet systems, high-performance terminals, and next-generation all-in-one chargers, we are providing flexibility and reliability for the evolving EV charging market. Together with our intelligent service platform and AI capabilities — and full readiness for CCS, MCS, BESS, and PV — this launch provides a comprehensive foundation for building the charging networks of the future, supporting Europe’s transition to zero-emission transport.”

Supporting Europe’s Transition to Zero-Emission Transport

Autel’s new charging platform represents a significant step forward in addressing the challenges of scaling EV infrastructure. By offering modular, scalable, and future-proof solutions, Autel is empowering operators to build robust charging networks that cater to diverse needs — from urban passenger car charging to heavy-duty fleet applications.

With its focus on reliability, efficiency, and adaptability, Autel’s next-generation platform is poised to play a pivotal role in accelerating the transition to sustainable, zero-emission transportation across Europe and beyond. As the EV market continues to grow, Autel’s innovative approach ensures that charging infrastructure keeps pace with the demands of tomorrow’s mobility ecosystem.
