Broadcom Showcases VMware Private AI Cloud at VMware Explore 2026

Broadcom Highlights VMware Private AI Cloud for Faster Innovation at VMware Explore 2026

VMware Explore 2026, Broadcom Inc. introduced the VMware Private AI Cloud, enabling enterprises to scale AI cost-effectively, operate more securely, and innovate rapidly. Built on Broadcom’s advanced software capabilities, the solution brings model capabilities to enterprise data to provide a production-ready path to running inference workloads, agentic applications, and traditional workloads on a single private cloud platform.

Organizations looking to deploy AI face challenges with hardware CapEx, operational complexity, and token economics. VMware Private AI Cloud addresses these barriers by unifying private cloud and private AI infrastructure, delivering strong data sovereignty, simplified Day 2 operations, and predictable costs. Scale AI Cost-Effectively

VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) 9 reduces hardware costs through NVMe memory tiering and cluster-wide storage deduplication while supporting heterogeneous clusters with GPUs, CPUs, and accelerators from leading vendors. Broadcom announced VMware AI Factory, the software-defined foundation for Private AI Cloud that accelerates model deployment and optimizes tokenomics. Additionally, Validated AI Models for VCF deliver Model-as-a-Service capabilities, giving organizations access to over 150 open source and commercial models on-premises.

Operate More Securely

Aligned to NIST CSF 2.0 standards, VCF delivers continuous compliance and zero-trust protection. To counter AI-accelerated threats, VMware vDefend now features Agentic Zero Trust with distributed virtual patching via AI-generated IDPS signatures, while VMware Avi Load Balancer offers Agentic Threat Defense to restrict unauthorized tool access and protect against sensitive data exfiltration. Broadcom also introduced TrueSource to help better secure open-source supply chains, extending frontier-scanned, human-verified patches to Spring, Java, Python, Node.js, Bitnami, and popular enterprise data services.

Innovate Rapidly for the Agentic AI Era

To safely govern autonomous AI agents, Broadcom unveiled AgentMinder, a solution providing a central control plane that binds agent authority to specific missions, enforces least-privileged access, and provides compliance-grade auditability. VMware Tanzu Platform adds AI-ready data foundations to publish context-rich data pipelines securely, alongside agent foundations that enforce strict containment via a deny-by-default runtime and isolated credential stores.

Looking Ahead: VMware Explore 2027

Broadcom also announced key details for VMware Explore 2027, which will shift to May 3-6, 2027 at Resorts World Las Vegas. Attendees can pre-register through September 30, 2026, to lock in an additional $100 savings on event passes. Official registration for Explore 2027 will open on January 12, 2027.
