Insight to Acquire Sekuro in Definitive Agreement

Insight Enterprises Signs Definitive Agreement to Acquire Cybersecurity Firm Sekuro

Insight Enterprises , a Fortune 500 solutions integrator helping organizations accelerate their digital journey, today announced that its subsidiary, Insight Enterprises Australia Pty Limited, has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Sekuro, a global cybersecurity services firm headquartered in Australia. Sekuro specializes in delivering end-to-end security, governance, and risk solutions to enterprise and government clients.

The acquisition is expected to enhance Insight’s cybersecurity capabilities across the Asia Pacific (APAC) region at a critical time when demand for advanced security services is soaring. Businesses throughout APAC are grappling with an increasingly complex cyber threat landscape, with reported data breaches rising by 38% year-over-year in 2024. Organizations are facing more sophisticated threats, which are pushing them to transition from reactive cybersecurity approaches to proactive, strategic resilience models.

By acquiring Sekuro, Insight aims to meet this growing need head-on, expanding its offerings to include deeper managed security services, advanced risk and compliance frameworks, and a broader set of cloud and hybrid infrastructure security solutions.

“Cybersecurity is no longer just an IT concern—it’s a board-level priority and a core component of business continuity,” said Mike Morgan, Senior Vice President and Managing Director, Insight APAC. “Organizations across APAC are seeking trusted partners that can help them strengthen their security posture. Sekuro brings exceptional expertise and a portfolio that aligns perfectly with Insight’s vision. This acquisition positions us to deliver integrated, end-to-end security solutions that address both today’s and tomorrow’s threats.”

Sekuro: A Fast-Rising Leader in Cybersecurity

Founded in 2021, Sekuro has rapidly become a recognized leader in cybersecurity and risk management services. With a strong reputation for delivering high-impact solutions to complex security challenges, the company has established an impressive client base that includes leading global enterprises such as Canva, Atlassian, and Salesforce.

Sekuro’s capabilities include a comprehensive range of offerings:

  • 24/7 Managed Security Services
  • Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) consulting
  • Cloud security optimization for public, private, and hybrid environments
  • IRAP assessments and specialized services for the Australian government

Sekuro also boasts a team of over 200 highly skilled cybersecurity professionals, holding more than 450 certifications across leading platforms such as CrowdStrike, Microsoft, AWS, Zscaler, and Okta. This deep bench of technical talent and strategic expertise will be a strong addition to Insight’s global workforce.

“Sekuro’s mission has always been to help clients build cyber resilience, not just react to threats,” said Scott McKean, CEO of Sekuro. “Joining Insight allows us to scale that mission, combining our capabilities with a global solutions integrator that shares our values and long-term vision. Together, we can offer even more impactful outcomes for clients navigating the complexities of modern cybersecurity.”

Strategic Impact and Regional Growth

The planned acquisition marks a significant milestone for Insight’s ongoing investment in the APAC region. As businesses and governments continue to adopt cloud technologies and digital transformation initiatives, the need for integrated security solutions is accelerating. By incorporating Sekuro’s capabilities into its broader portfolio, Insight is better positioned to serve clients at every stage of their cybersecurity maturity journey—from assessment and compliance to implementation and 24/7 managed defense.

The move also supports Insight’s strategic goal of expanding its services-led business globally, particularly in the fields of cloud, data, AI, and cybersecurity. With Sekuro’s proven track record and established presence in the APAC market, Insight will gain deeper access to key industry verticals including financial services, technology, and the public sector.

Transaction Details

The transaction is expected to close in early November 2025, subject to customary regulatory approvals and closing conditions. Legal counsel for Insight in this transaction is being provided by Baker McKenzie, while Equiteq LLC is acting as the exclusive financial advisor to Sekuro.

Upon completion of the acquisition, Sekuro’s leadership and employees are expected to join Insight, continuing to operate and deliver services under the Insight brand in the APAC region.

This acquisition underscores Insight’s commitment to becoming the go-to partner for secure digital transformation, with an emphasis on proactive security, scalable innovation, and long-term client success.
