Invisible Technologies Raises $100 Million to Revolutionize Enterprise AI Infrastructure
Invisible Technologies, a trailblazing AI software company at the intersection of data management and agentic application development, has announced a $100 million growth funding round led by Vanara Capital. This investment brings Invisible’s total capital raised to $144 million and marks Vanara’s first publicly disclosed deal. Joining Vanara in this funding round are prominent investors such as Princeville Capital, HOF Capital, Freestyle VC, Rocketeer Management, Tallwoods Capital, and existing backers like Acrew Capital, Greycroft, Backed VC, BY Ventures, and Deepwater Asset Management.
Ranked as the No. 2 Fastest Growing AI Company on the 2024 Inc. 5000 List, Invisible Technologies has experienced explosive growth, with revenue more than doubling from 2023 to 2024, reaching $134 million. This follows an impressive 24x increase in revenue between 2020 and 2023. The company has undergone significant transformation since Matthew Fitzpatrick joined as CEO in January. Fitzpatrick, formerly the Global Head of QuantumBlack Labs at McKinsey, where he oversaw 1,000 engineers and product leaders, brings deep expertise in enterprise AI.
“I’ve spent the last decade navigating both the potential and limitations of enterprise AI,” said Fitzpatrick. “Seventy percent of the world’s software is over two decades old, and despite recent advancements, most companies struggle to operationalize AI models and measure ROI. Invisible changes that equation. Our platform, paired with our expert marketplace, empowers enterprises to organize, clean, label, and map their data. This foundation enables them to build agentic workflows that deliver tangible impact. In a market saturated with fragmented solutions, we’re providing the comprehensive infrastructure needed to unlock AI’s true value.”
The new funding will accelerate Invisible’s development of its core AI Software Platform, which comprises five modular components designed to address every stage of the AI lifecycle:
- Neuron: A flexible data infrastructure for integrating and transforming structured and unstructured data.
- Atomic: A visual process mapper and builder to codify workflows and business logic.
- Expert Marketplace: A workforce engine offering high-quality human expertise, Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback (RLHF), training, and validation.
- Synapse: An annotation and evaluation layer that measures performance, facilitates fine-tuning, and drives continuous model improvement.
- Axon: Agentic automation to orchestrate tasks and decisions across systems.
Over the past six months, Invisible has bolstered its leadership team with strategic hires. Kit Colbert, former CTO of VMware, has joined as Platform CTO, bringing decades of experience in building enterprise-grade infrastructure. Alexius Wronka, Aaron Bawcom, and Junaid Syed have been appointed as Field CTOs, while Benjamin Samuels, former CRO of WeWork, now serves as GM of EMEA to spearhead regional expansion. Sharon Woods, with two decades of leadership experience across the White House, Pentagon, and defense agencies, has joined as SVP of Enterprise Accounts, Public Sector. With offices now open in New York, San Francisco, Washington, D.C., and London, Invisible has doubled its engineering team to 350 employees.
Vanara Managing Partner Hayden Lekacz will join Invisible’s Board of Directors, alongside Chairman and Founder Francis Pedraza; Charlie Songhurst, who also sits on Meta’s Board; Doug Clinton, Co-Founder and Partner at Deepwater Asset Management; John Lee, Partner at Jazz Venture Partners; and Robyn Scott, Co-Founder and CEO of Apolitical.
“Invisible is pioneering the large-scale adoption of enterprise AI by creating the foundational layer of the AI ecosystem that companies desperately need but few have mastered,” said Hayden Lekacz and Neil Kamath, Co-Founders and Managing Partners at Vanara. “As one of our inaugural investments, Invisible exemplifies the kind of disruptive technology we aim to support. We’re thrilled to partner with the team to scale solutions that modernize workflows and push the boundaries of enterprise technology.”
Real-World Impact: Making AI Work Across Industries
Enterprises spanning public and private sectors—such as Microsoft, Group III’s Swiss Gear, Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC), and the NBA’s Charlotte Hornets—are leveraging Invisible’s platform to operationalize AI and tackle real-world challenges.
“Invisible’s computer vision models provided critical data that significantly enhanced our 2025 draft analysis,” said Patrick Harrel, VP of Basketball Insights & Analysis for the Charlotte Hornets. “The insights generated were invaluable to our decision-making process, and we look forward to continuing our collaboration.”
In retail, Invisible partnered with Swiss Gear to unify and structure its data, enabling smarter demand forecasting and improved visibility across the supply chain. Meanwhile, Invisible collaborated with SAIC and Vatn Systems on a U.S. Navy initiative to test advanced AI applications for unmanned underwater vehicles, focusing on automated analysis of vehicle and sensor performance.
These use cases highlight how Invisible combines cutting-edge software with human expertise to deliver scalable, data-driven solutions for enterprises.
“We built Invisible quietly and profitably for years because we believe in the synergy of technology and human intelligence,” said Francis Pedraza, Co-Founder and Chairman of the Board. “Making AI work requires both. The tools we’ve developed for training large language models (LLMs) will pave the way for AI’s success in the enterprise.”
With its robust platform, growing team, and strong financial backing, Invisible Technologies is poised to redefine how enterprises harness the power of AI. By addressing the challenges of data organization, workflow automation, and model optimization, Invisible is setting a new standard for AI infrastructure—one that delivers measurable impact and drives innovation across industries.
