Technology Professionals Earn Top Honors for Advancing Digital Trust and Security Excellence
The global technology community faces unprecedented challenges in cybersecurity, governance, and digital transformation. As organizations navigate increasingly complex threat landscapes and regulatory frameworks, the need for exceptional leadership in IT audit, risk management, and privacy has never been more critical. ISACA’s 2026 Global Achievement Awards spotlight the professionals who are rising to meet these challenges with innovation, dedication, and measurable impact.
ISACA has announced its 2026 award recipients, honoring technology professionals who have demonstrated exceptional contributions to IT audit, risk, governance, privacy, and cybersecurity. The awards will be presented at the ISACA Awards Celebration on May 7, 2026, during the organization’s North America Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada.

His work strengthening collaboration between academic institutions and industry has created sustainable pipelines for future technology leaders.
Inspirational Leadership: Sushila Nair, CISA, CISM, CRISC, CDPSE, CEO of Cybernetic, LLC in the United States, receives this award for advancing global cybersecurity initiatives, empowering volunteers, and transforming the ISACA Greater Washington, DC Chapter into a model of post-pandemic organizational excellence.
Hall of Fame Induction Honors Sustained Volunteer Impact
The 2026 Hall of Fame class recognizes three member-nominated inductees for exemplary dedication to advancing ISACA’s mission through volunteer service and member engagement: Gail Coury, CISA, CISM (USA); Marios Damianides, CISA, CISM (USA); and Lucio Augusto Molina Focazzio, CISA, CISM, CRISC, CDPSE (Colombia).
Hall of Fame inductees represent the sustained volunteer commitment that strengthens professional communities and creates knowledge-sharing networks spanning continents. Their collective service demonstrates how individual contributions aggregate into systemic advancement of the technology profession.
Julia Kanouse, ISACA Chief Membership Officer, emphasized the broader significance: “The ISACA community continues to show how individual dedication can create global impact. We are honored to recognize these six outstanding individuals—whose service exemplifies our mission—together with the chapters and volunteer leaders who strengthen our community every day.”
Shaping the Future of Technology Leadership
ISACA members can vote for a 2026 Hall of Fame inductee to receive the Eugene Frank Founders Award, the organization’s highest individual recognition, through February 15 at the designated voting platform.
