Wildix Positions AI as the Catalyst Redefining the Future of Unified Communications

As enterprises face mounting economic pressure and rising service expectations, unified communications and collaboration (UC&C) is undergoing a fundamental shift. No longer viewed as a standalone IT tool, UC&C is increasingly expected to function as an operational system—delivering reliability, visibility, and accountability at scale. At its 2026 Virtual UC&C Summit, Wildix made a clear case for how AI-powered unified communications is accelerating this transformation and reshaping the role of the channel.

AI-Powered UC&C Moves Beyond Transactional Resale

Wildix, a leader in AI-driven unified communications solutions, used its annual summit to highlight a pivotal evolution in the UC&C channel. As the market matures, partner success is no longer defined by transactional resale. Instead, differentiation now hinges on advisory leadership—designing, governing, and optimizing communication workflows that directly support business operations.

With organizations demanding measurable outcomes from their communications platforms, Wildix reaffirmed its 100 percent channel-only model, positioning partners as architects of operational value rather than technology intermediaries.

“The UC&C market has matured,” said Emiliano Tomasoni, CMO of Wildix. Customers are increasingly seeking partners who can translate communication into tangible operational impact, not just deploy tools.

Elevating Partner Leadership Through AI and Advocacy

To reinforce this partner-first strategy, Wildix announced the launch of its Spokesperson Program, selecting one partner annually to serve as a global ambassador. The initiative underscores Wildix’s commitment to giving the channel a central voice and spotlighting real-world partner leadership in AI-driven communications.

This focus aligns with broader industry dynamics. According to Omdia, more than 80 percent of unified communications sales are expected to be indirect by 2026, further amplifying the importance of partner-led execution in the UC&C ecosystem.

From AI Strategy to Real-World Execution

Building on the agentic AI vision introduced at last year’s summit and the rollout of Wilma AI, Wildix shifted this year’s emphasis squarely to execution. The summit showcased how embedded AI automation is already being deployed in live customer environments—integrated seamlessly into voice, messaging, and meeting workflows.

These AI capabilities are governed through partner-led frameworks, ensuring that generative and agentic AI enhances productivity without sacrificing accountability or control.

Industry partners echoed this sentiment, emphasizing that AI—particularly voice AI—is no longer experimental. It has become a true competitive differentiator in modern unified communications platforms.

Enabling Channel Growth Through Structured Sales Excellence

Recognizing the increasing complexity of UC&C buying behavior, Wildix also shared first-year results from its Sales Academy program. Designed to support partners through real sales opportunities rather than abstract training, the methodology applies structured sales frameworks directly to live deals.

In its first year, participating partners generated over $40,000 in new monthly recurring revenue and achieved 23 percent year-over-year growth. The initiative has since earned industry recognition, including a UC Award for partner enablement from UC Today.

Measurable Outcomes Across Real-World Use Cases

The summit highlighted several examples of partner-led execution across healthcare, professional services, and retail. One standout was RoboReception, an AI-enabled healthcare solution co-developed with Wildix and delivered through U.K.-based MSP Focus Group.

Originally designed to address front-desk inefficiencies in dental clinics, the solution automates inbound patient interactions and reduces administrative workload. Within six months of deployment across 65 clinics, RoboReception delivered more than $9 million in measurable return on investment—without increasing headcount.

2026: The Year of Operational Depth in Unified Communications

Looking ahead, Wildix positioned 2026 as a year defined by execution, governance, and operational depth. Planned investments include AI-driven coaching and insights, tighter control across voice, messaging, and mobile environments, and expanded partner capabilities such as fixed-mobile convergence and emerging messaging standards.

This roadmap reinforces a broader vision of unified communications as an operational system, empowering partners to progressively embed intelligence, accountability, and measurable outcomes into everyday workflows.
